The Associação Ferroviária Melhoramentos do Brasil - AFMB, is a non-profit association, of a historical, cultural and tourist nature, operating in the area of the Brazilian Federation, founded on April 10, 2022 under CNPJ 47.821.999/0001-01.

This Association arose from the willpower of a group of railway enthusiasts with the aim of saving the Estrada de Ferro Melhoramentos do Brasil - EFMB, better known as the EFCB Auxiliary Line.

Our mission is completely linked to the railway cause, and everything that encompasses the railway. Making partnerships and agreements; promoting and cooperating with the reactivation and maintenance of railways in historical, cultural and touristic character, preserving equipment, materials, constructions, accessories, etc. either on our own initiative or in partnerships with other entities.

MISSION

Our mission is fully linked to saving and preserving the public and historical heritage of the Estrada de Ferro Melhoramentos do Brasil - EFMB, better known as Linha Auxiliar after it was incorporated by the Estrada de Ferro Central do Brasil - EFCB.

VISION

AFMB is completely focused on railway preservation, our main objective is to recover EFMB, implement Tourist, Cultural and Passenger Trains as well as Railway Museums at the stations of this railway.
